Now I’m Covered In Sawdust

Since I was little, I’ve had a keen interest in creating with wood. I was always tinkering - carving clumsy little shapes or dreaming up contraptions that only half worked. Later, that curiosity led me to sculptures that moved, custom pressed skateboards and longboards, detailed relief carvings, organic spoons and furniture, and all sorts of little projects in between. These days, I find myself especially taken with the quiet rhythm of the lathe, turning bowls and watching the grain reveal itself one layer at a time.
